Four extortionists among 8 held in Rangers raids

Police conducted raid in south zone and recovered the abducted doctor.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least eight people including four extortionists were arrested during joint operation by police and Rangers in the metropolis.
Police conducted an operation in Khwaja Ajmer Nagri, arresting two alleged extortionists who belonged to a political party.
Meanwhile, two suspects involved in extortion of transporters and traders were arrested from Mochhko. Extortion receipts and arms were also seized from the arrested.
Two more suspects were arrested from Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan while their motorbike was confiscated by police.
On the other hand, police conducted raid in south zone for the recovery of abducted doctor. After an exchange of fire, the police successfully recovered doctor Rafique.
Three kidnappers were arrested while two managed to flee away.
Later, the police conducted a search operation in Lasbela and Patel Para on the information provided by the arrested kidnappers and nabbed six suspects.
