Pak-Turk leadership meets today


Both the leaders will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and energy.

ANKARA (Web News) Formal talks between Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Turkish leadership are being held in Ankara today.
The two sides will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors particularly trade‚ economy and energy.
He will also hold a one on one meeting with President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister will attend the third meeting of high level Consultative Cooperation Council in Ankara along with his entourage this evening.
The meeting will discuss every aspect of Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relations.
Earlier‚ the Prime Minister held an informal meeting with his Turkish counterpart in Ankara.
They discussed ways and means to further promote economic cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking on the occasion‚ Nawaz Sharif said the people of Pakistan and Turkey have waged an exemplary struggle for democracy.
He said he has come to Ankara with a large agenda and is looking forward to discuss enhanced cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy‚ infrastructure‚ education and security.
He said there is a great potential for the two brotherly countries to learn from each other expertise.
The Turkish Prime Minister also hosted a dinner for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
