Four killed, 19 hurt in Quetta blast

At least 4 people were killed when a bomb exploded near a market at Zarghun Road on Wednesday.


QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least four people were killed and 19 others injured when the terrorists targeted innocent citizens at Zarghun Road.
The blast was so intense that windowpanes of nearby buildings cracked and several shops and two vehicles were damaged.
Some vehicles also caught fire after the blast.
The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area after the information of the blast while wounded were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex.
Meanwhile, cylinder of a vehicle also exploded near the blast site.
The traffic in the city jammed after the blast and rescue teams faced difficulties in relief operation.
The Fire Brigade Squad rushed to the scene and extinguished fire that erupted at the spot after the blast.
Police and FC personnel cordoned off the area after the blast and emergency was imposed in the city hospitals.
Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has condemned the blast in very strong terms.
